Vineyards
Implanted from 1962 to 2004 are extended approximately 35 hectares.
This is classic Tuscan controspalliere.
Pruning is partly Guyot and partly spurred cordon.
These vineyards are planted with Sangiovese Nero (Prugnolo Gentile), Cabernet Sauvignon, Canaiolo Nero, Sagrantino.
Through a drastic reduction of production strain, we managed to get grapes riper, richer in polyphenols and thus with more intense colors and flavors.
Location
Company is wholly located in the town of Montepulciano.
The winery is located near the village of Montepulciano Stazione and Vineyards are located in villages of Valiano and Acquaviva.
The vines are grown at altitudes ranging from about 260 up to 310 m, in well-suited, from soils predominantly tuffaceous clay.
